Part Time Marketing Position
Toppers and Trailers Plus is seeking an energetic, committed person with some marketing experience.
We have been in business since 1986 with two locations currently, Mankato and Le Sueur. This position would require alternating locations, based on need. You will be working with multiple people at both stores to showcase our store, products and events we have coming up. We are looking for someone who is very organized and detail oriented to join our team. This is a part-time position of 10-20 hours per week, with the average 15-20 hours per week. All time must be spent on site or at an event we are hosting.
Job Description
- Maintain the company website updates and ensure it’s continued accuracy
- Keep current with Facebook updates with products, services, and features
- Help write company radio ads and get them to radio stations in a timely manner
- Take marketing videos and upload them
- Maintain company presence using Google Adwords
- Take charge of the showroom “wow” display
- In charge of Merchandising at both stores
- Manage the company events and the holiday/event decorating
Qualifications
- Prefer 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a retail setting
- Willingness to dedicate a 2-year commitment
- Skilled in oral and written communications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be willing to travel between store locations
- Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activity
- Sufficient computer skills, particularly proficiency with email, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to collaborate as a team
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Anticipated hours per week: 15-20 hours / Averaging 15 hours per week
Compensation:
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $15 – $23 per hour
