Accounts Payable / Office Manager
Toppers and Trailers Plus has an immediate opening for a full time Accounts Payable/Office Manager. We are a family owned and run company who’s been in business for 37 years and currently has 2 locations. We are looking for someone who wants this to be a career and not just a job, and who is looking for long term employment. You must be a team player and be willing to do what needs to be done.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Payable with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and record general journal entries.
- Enter invoices into system with correct GL.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure their accuracy.
- Prepare reports for owners as needed to assist in better planning and decision making.
- Enter payroll detail by departments and location.
- Send unit sales to accounting in system.
- Pay monthly sales tax and record payment.
- Order office supplies, run errands and clean office when needed.
- Complete monthly bank and loan reconciliations, month end closure, and submitting accounting info to consulting firm.
- Prepare and review tax returns with our accounting firm and enter any needed adjustments.
- Occasional travel to meetings and our other store.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Accountability for actions, initiative to make visions a reality, integrity that places honesty and trust above all else, and professionalism.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Previous accounting experience required and DMS experience preferred.
- Budgeting by department experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to our other location on occasion.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to work with others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years experience with Accounts Payable in a small business environment.
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm during summer
- Saturdays 9am – 3pm during fall/winter hours may be required
